Our personal touch!
One thing other Directories don't have is US. We speak to every supplier who registers with us and get to know what they do and where they are. Lots of customers and corporates call us direct to source suppliers and because of our knowledge we can either recommend suppliers or put the enquiry straight onto our Facebook Group tagging in the relevant people.
We are here to help
Some people struggle with IT or have difficulty in marketing their skills or services. We regularly help people with content and photos for their ads and are always here to give support! We sometimes have a special offer where we create your whole ad free of charge. This is great for people who are pressed for time or those who need help with marketing themselves.
Our investment into marketing and Google Ads
Amongst other advertising we invest heavily in GoogleAds. We have 15 Ad Groups with over 150 search terms covering everything from soft play hire to mermaid parties! We regularly review our search terms and campaigns with a GoogleAds Advisor to ensure they are all working as hard as possible for us!
Our social media presence
We pride ourselves on being prominent on Facebook and Instagram – the two platforms that our customers are using the most. Daily social media postings and targeted Facebook ads ensure our site is getting plenty of traffic from this source too. Because we are members of hundreds of Facebook Groups we see people asking for recommendations all the time. We always put the link to the relevant page and if it’s a specific enquiry then a link to the supplier’s Partycloud ad.
Our beautiful website
Coded from scratch by the talented Access by Design it is visually stunning and easy to navigate. The site provides text alternatives for any non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms people need. This includes large print, braille, speech, symbols or simpler language and it’s dyslexia friendly. Google ranks us higher because we are inclusive 🙂
When a new ad is registered we ensure that it has location tags, for example cake maker, Basingstoke, which helps with Search Engine Optimisation. We also add contact prompts so customers are encouraged to make an enquiry.
And finally …. We are Award Winning!
We are very proud to have won Winchester City Council’s Business Innovation Award 2019. Our winnings were invested directly back into improving our site. We are soon to launch an interactive booking system which suppliers can opt to use. This is due to be launched soon.
